If you want budget, just get an XT hub and a wide bodied sprocket and some spacers from On-One.
Or if you've not bought the spokes/rims yet, I've some Salsa wheels on rapide rims (crests with a pinned joint and eyeleted). Both are QR. Only negative is the rear freehub bearing is on its way out, cartridge though so shouldn't be a hard job (they're re-branded formula hubs). Not that old so I'd sell for the cost of the rims as I was planning on putting the rims on some other bolt through wheels but CBA now as I've 2 other similar sets.
